About this coffee

Our Half Caff Brazilian is a 50/50 split of caffeinated Brazilian Santos and decaffeinated beans, carefully blended to deliver all the flavour of speciality coffee with a reduced caffeine content. This medium roast coffee is a smooth and comforting choice for those who want to enjoy great coffee flavour without the full caffeine hit.

Combining the rich, chocolatey character of Brazilian beans with the clean sweetness of decaffeinated coffee, this balanced blend delivers flavours of milk chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, caramel, and biscuit. The result is a naturally sweet, easy-drinking coffee with a smooth, low-acidity finish.

Perfect for enjoying throughout the day, Half Caff Brazilian offers a satisfying cup with less caffeine while still delivering the depth, body, and flavour you expect from a premium speciality coffee.

Coffee Formats Explained

We offer our coffee in a range of formats to suit your brewing method.

  • Whole Bean: Our top recommendation, giving you the freshest cup when ground at home.
  • Cafetiere: A coarse grind, perfect for Cafetiere / French Press brewing
  • Filter: A medium to fine grind, ideal for filter / V60 / Chemex methods.
  • Aeropress: We would class this as a fine+ grind. Ideal for smooth extraction
  • Espresso: an extra fine grind. Ideal for espresso machines requiring ground coffee, Moka Pot or Stove Top brewing.
How much do i need?

Most people use around 15 to 18 grams of coffee per cup depending on the brew method. On average if you drink two cups a day you will go through about 250 grams in a week.

It is always worth ordering a little extra so you never run out!

Coffee Freshness

Most of our coffee is dispatched on the same day as roasting, ensuring it reaches you at peak freshness and each bag is clearly marked with a Roasted On date.

To allow flavours to develop and excess CO₂ to dissipated after roasting, we recommend allowing our freshly roasted coffee rest for at least 72 hours before drinking. Don't worry though, it will still taste great if you can't wait that long!

Our packaging contains a one-way degassing valve to both allow the degassing process to continue and keep unwanted air out.

Although our coffee can be stored for up to 1 year, we recommend enjoying within 1 month for maximum flavour. For best results, store your coffee in a high-quality airtight container.
