About this coffee

Smooth, simple and seriously refreshing.

This cold brew coffee from Norfolk Pig Coffee is crafted for a rich, smooth and refreshing experience. Made from a carefully selected beans from Vietnam, Ethiopia and Brazil, this dark roast delivers a deep flavour with layers of cocoa, caramel and roasted nuts, balanced by a naturally clean low acidity finish.

Whether you are stocking up for warm mornings, long afternoons or a reliable caffeine boost on the go, this cold brew brings café quality convenience to your fridge.

Our recommended cold brew recipe:

  • 75g - 100g (depending on preferred strength) of coarsely grounded Norfolk Pig Coffee
  • 1 litre of cold, filtered water
  • A large jar or jug
  • A find sieve or coffee filter

Recommended method:

  • Add the coarsely ground coffee to your jar or jug.
  • Pour in the cold water and stir gently to make sure all the coffee is saturated.
  • Cover and leave to steep in the fridge or at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  • Strain slowly through a fine sieve or coffee filter until smooth.
  • Serve over ice and dilute with water or milk if you prefer a lighter taste.

Top tip:

For maximum flavour, serve chilled over ice and adjust strength to taste. Cold brew keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Coffee Formats Explained

We offer our coffee in a range of formats to suit your brewing method.

  • Whole Bean: Our top recommendation, giving you the freshest cup when ground at home.
  • Cafetiere: A coarse grind, perfect for Cafetiere / French Press brewing
  • Filter: A medium to fine grind, ideal for filter / V60 / Chemex methods.
  • Aeropress: We would class this as a fine+ grind. Ideal for smooth extraction
  • Espresso: an extra fine grind. Ideal for espresso machines requiring ground coffee, Moka Pot or Stove Top brewing.
How much do i need?

Most people use around 15 to 18 grams of coffee per cup depending on the brew method. On average if you drink two cups a day you will go through about 250 grams in a week.

It is always worth ordering a little extra so you never run out!

Coffee Freshness

Most of our coffee is dispatched on the same day as roasting, ensuring it reaches you at peak freshness and each bag is clearly marked with a Roasted On date.

To allow flavours to develop and excess CO₂ to dissipated after roasting, we recommend allowing our freshly roasted coffee rest for at least 72 hours before drinking. Don't worry though, it will still taste great if you can't wait that long!

Our packaging contains a one-way degassing valve to both allow the degassing process to continue and keep unwanted air out.

Although our coffee can be stored for up to 1 year, we recommend enjoying within 1 month for maximum flavour. For best results, store your coffee in a high-quality airtight container.
