What coffee should you use with an AeroPress Go?

The AeroPress Go works with virtually any good quality ground coffee, giving you plenty of freedom to explore different origins and roast levels.

For a balanced and approachable cup, try a medium roasted coffee. Lighter roasted single origin coffees can bring out more delicate fruit and floral flavours, while darker roasted coffees can produce a richer and more intense cup.

For the best results, use freshly roasted coffee and grind it shortly before brewing.

AeroPress Go vs a French press

The AeroPress Go and French press both use immersion brewing, but they produce noticeably different cups.

A French press allows coffee grounds to remain in contact with the brewed coffee and uses a metal mesh filter. The AeroPress Go uses paper micro filtration and air pressure, producing a cleaner cup with virtually no grit.

The AeroPress Go is also considerably more compact and easier to take travelling.

If you enjoy the body of French press coffee but prefer a cleaner cup, the AeroPress Go is an excellent alternative.

AeroPress Go vs pour over coffee

Pour over brewing can produce exceptionally clean and nuanced coffee, but it usually requires a dripper, filter papers, a suitable kettle and a mug or server.
